Long before YouTube and Twitter gave us all an outlet to incessantly mock video clips with clever one liners, there was Mystery Science Theater 3000. The deliriously hilarious cable show — which revolved around a guy who's exiled to a spaceship and forced to watch awful B movies in the company of two witty robot sidekicks — turns 25 this year, and Wired's pulled together the key writers and performers behind the show to record an "oral history" of how it all went down. It's a must-read for any fan of the show, and there's even a bit of a surprise at the end: show creator Joel Hodgson says he's hoping to reboot the show online this spring.
