Apple iPhone users regretting upgrading from iOS 6.1.2 are still waiting for the free evasi0n iOS 7 untethered jailbreak. The @evaders group, however, has chosen to keep mum on the latest updates. Meanwhile @iH8sn0w is still managing to hold a Q & A event on Twitter. The Apple hacker has recently laughed off an unconfirmed news saying iOS 7 jailbreak is "not happening" and 6.1.3 jailbreak is "terminated."

Everyone from the @evad3rs group has reassured followers they are (still) working on the iOS 7 jailbreak. There was never a tweet on any ETA. But @planetbeing has raised the fact that some fake accounts are releasing fake release dates to their utter frustration.

"Really sick of the fake http://evad3rs.net , @evad3rs_jb and their FB and G+ pages spreading speculation that people think come from us," evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak developer @planetbeing tweeted in November.

Pushed to maintain an updates blog only on iOS 7 jailbreak, the dev joked, "Just start your own blog and repeat 'this is the last step to jailbreak' every day to yourself and you'll get the same effect. :P" The joke hints of adjustments still being made into the evasi0n jailbreak utility.

Still, there has been no sign at all from the real evad3rs that they are leaving the project. It is expected that the group would make an announcement should they decide against pursuing evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak. (They did announce in March that there won't be an iOS 6.1.3 evasi0n jailbreak.)

@iH8sn0w: ETAs only make people more rowdy. Never wanted to give one in the first place. Still working on it though.

Summing up @iH8sn0w's responses, the iOS 6.1.3 and 7 jailbreakers are not likely to make any (new) ETA announcements. For many hopefuls, it is enough that these devs are not announcing any cancellation or termination.
