Many have
assumed that Nuance engineering was contained in Siri and Nuance has finally
established it. Nuance, the leader in electronic speech acceptance, has long
been thought to have added engineering to Apple's electronic associate
nevertheless neither company had established it to be true until today.
Speaking at the AllThingsD's D11 conference, Nuance CEO, John Ricci, made the
verification that Apple's Siri contains Nuance technology. This is made evident
after Ricci mentioned next when asked whether Nuance was at fault when Siri
does not understand specific demands:
"We are the fundamental provider of voice recognition for Apple."
