Google Announces Play Game Services With iOS Support



Today at Google I/O the organisation announced that Google Play is arriving at iOS soon. No, not the Google Play Store, but Google Play Game Services a fresh new number of API's Google is launching for developers today. 
These allow users to snap their games across platforms, meaning when someone is playing a game on an Android device and it perishes, their game state is sent to the cloud permitting them to start where they left off on an iPhone. 


As well as cloud save, the newest API have support for leader-boards and achievements. These features may also be incorporated into the player's Google+ social network, enabling gamers to compare statistics against their opponents. Furthermore Google+ users will have the ability to utilise their Circles in the social network platform to locate friends for gaming over the net.
