Google Requests YouTube App Removal From Microsoft's Windows Phone Store, Microsoft Responds

YouTube not long ago, stumbled on to Windows Phone 8 as a great complete app, but the app's exposure might be short-lived. Based on documents gathered by a certain blog, Google demanded that Microsoft take away the app out of the Windows Phone Store, also render useless installations on Windows Phone 8 smartphones, immediately.
The main reason? According to document the application did not get uncle Goog's stamp of approval prior to going live, and it stops the ads that typically operate on YouTube. In all fairness, ads are a significant supply of capital for both Google and many third parties, so Mountain View might not be might not be exaggerating with the demands. And that's not the sole strike against Redmond: based on the cease and desist letter, YouTube on Windows Phone 8 lets users actually download the videos to the device, as well as streaming certain videos that has  been marked as restricted on certain devices.
Well, and all of the above disclosed details violate YT ToS. Google is issuing a deadline that ends on May  the 22nd to eliminate the app, we are pretty sure this is not the final word you will hear about this subject.

Updated news: Microsoft has answered. We've the entire statement from Microsoft's spokesperson bellow.

"YouTube is consistently one of the top apps downloaded by smartphone users on all platforms, but Google has refused to work with us to develop an app on par with other platforms. Since we updated the YouTube app to ensure our mutual customers a similar YouTube experience, ratings and feedback have been overwhelmingly positive. We'd be more than happy to include advertising but need Google to provide us access to the necessary APIs. In light of Larry Page's comments today calling for more interoperability and less negativity, we look forward to solving this matter together for our mutual customers."
