Fox is bringing Gotham back for a second season




Fox announced today that its Batman origin series Gotham will be back for a second season, Variety reports. It's the first renewal success from DC Comics' push for TV screens; last year DC put out three shows, including Constantine on NBC, The Flash on CW, and Gotham on Fox. According to Variety, renewing Gotham seems like an easy decision for Fox with the show pulling in an average of 10.6 million viewers.
While The Flash and Constantine may also be renewed, Constantine will have much more of an uphill climb. NBC halted production of the show last November after 13 episodes.
