What if your goal in Tetris was to build a structure with the pieces rather than make solid horizontal lines? That's the idea behind Scaffold Now, a free Flash-based platformer. As decidedly non-standard Tetris blocks fall down the screen, you need to find a place to put them and make pseudo-steps so you can keep away from the ever-rising death line. The production values aren't particularly high, but that doesn't matter. It's a fun way to kill some time on a cold winter weekend — just beware that the finicky controls might infuriate you.
