Galaxy S4, The Next Android Top Smartphone Can Now be Pre Ordered Now!

The Samsung Galaxy S4 doesn’t hit shop shelves until 26 April, but if you just can’t wait to get hold of the full HD, turbo-charged Android smartphone, we’ve got good news for you: it’s now up for pre-order with your network of choice.
Vodafone, EE and Three have all now made the Samsung Galaxy S4 available for pre-order, as have stores Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U – and you can bet O2 won’t be far behind.
The networks are all trying to stand out in their own ways: EE is providing accessory packs worth £55 thrown in for pre-orderers, while Phones4U is offering up to £100 in Google Play vouchers for those who opt for a Samsung Galaxy S4 on EE 4G through the store.
If you can cope without 4G super speeds (or you don’t yet live in an area with LTE coverage), by far the best deal so far however is with Three, which is offering a free Samsung Galaxy S4 on a two year contract for £35 per month, with unlimited data, 500 minutes and 5,000 text messages.
In case you missed the hubbub earlier this month when the Samsung Galaxy S4 was revealed, it’s shaping up to be a true iPhone slayer, with a massive 1080p screen, quad-core processor and 13 megapixel camera, plus the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board.
Will it match the HTC One for skills though? We’ll let you know ASAP, so stay tuned for a full review soon. In the meantime, let us know where you’ll be getting yours in the comments below. [Source]

The Steam Box is Now Available on Pre Order, if You Don't Mind Spending $1.000

It’s no secret that Valve, the creator of hit games like Half-Life and the Steam PC download service, is planning a push into the living room with its own line of Steam Box consoles, gaming PCs with the footprints of an Xbox or PlayStation that sit quietly under your telly. Now, the very first Steam Box is up for pre-order – but it’ll cost you a cool $999.99 (£670).
The Piston gaming PC turned heads at the CES expo back in January: not just because it was a tiny, customisable gaming rig, but because Valve had invested in the company behind it, Xi3, as part of its plans. You can nowpre-order the Xi3 Piston, which will ship in time for Christmas, from the company’s website.
For that four digit pricetag, you get a machine powered by a 3.2GHz processor and 8GB of memory, and packing a speedy 128GB of solid state storage that can play all of your games on a TV using Steam’s Big Picture mode.
That’s an eye watering amount for gaming console alternative (it’s unlikely Sony would try and charge that much for the PS4, for instance), but it is also a full PC that can jump online and play whatever video you like – no need to wait around for apps. You can also bet that this is only the start: expect many more Steam Box designs to come, with much lower pricetags.
Would you pay that much for a tiny gaming rig? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments below! [GadgetShow]
