Twitter Updates Their Mac Application With Notification Centre Integration And Improvements in Performance

Twitter for Mac is improving with each update and today it received some new found powers, a very requested feature: integration within the Notification Centre in OS X. Users can enable the setting in the preferences section of the app.
OS X has native  Twitter integration, but notifications referred to the Internet as opposed to its native client. It last month the app received its first update in a long time, and today's upgrade shows Twitter has not forgotten about the app as is continually making it better.
Twitter 2.2.1 is ready for downloading in the Mac App Store:

What’s New in Version 2.2.1
