Google has
announce that it is collaborating along with Microsoft on a brand new YouTube
application for the Windows Phone platform. Following a dispute with Microsoft over
its non official YouTube application, the two appear to have come down to their
senses and things have calmed down now.
A week ago Google demanded that
Microsoft remove the app from the platform by the 22nd of May, but Microsoft issued an upgrade to
deal with a number of Google's concerns earlier in the week. Google says
"Microsoft and YouTube will work together to update the brand new YouTube
for Windows Phone application to allow compliance with YouTube's terms of
service, this will include ads being present, it will all happen in the coming
weeks."
