HP introduced the largest member of the
Chromebook family to the world back in February, but the PC
maker kept mum on a UK price and launch. Until now that is, as you’ll be able
to grab the Pavilion 14 Chromebook on these shores from today for just £249.
Hop on over to Dixons or the HP store and you can order your very own oversized Chromebook
with a large enough screen to keep them so glued to YouTube they won’t notice
it’s running Chrome OS. Most laptops we’ve seen so far running Google’s web
operating system have measured a much more petite 12-inches or less – this is
the first all-rounder desktop replacement that we’ve seen running it.
Under the hood you’ll find a speedy 4GB
of RAM and an Intel Celeron processor that’s more than capable of keeping up
with all your browser needs, while port-wise, you’ll find HDMI to hook it up to
your telly, three USB 2.0 ports and an Ethernet plug if you’re needing a wired
connection. If the speedy 16GB SSD isn’t enough for your needs, Google’s also
got 100GB of free cloud storage for you to use via Google Drive, so you can
keep your documents and files up in the air too.

Chromebook, or are you still lusting over the Google’s Chromebook Pixel? Let us know what you think in the comments
