SalesFUSION announced today that it has hired Christian Nahas, the former Vice President and General Manager of SMB at NCR Corporation, as its new CEO. The marketing automation software vendor has also raised $800,000 in new funding from Hallett Capital, which also invested a $1 million Series A in SalesFUSION back in March.
The Atlanta-based startup’s cloud-based marketing automation software is designed to help companies refine their sales and marketing strategies. The platform’s features help marketers first target and sell successfully to potential customers, then maintain relationships to ensure repeat business. SalesFUSION’s tools include targeted email campaigns, Lead Capture (a feature that integrates a client’s existing online forms with SalesFUSION software) and lead scoring to evaluate the effectiveness of different marketing campaigns. SalesFUSION seeks to differentiate itself from other SMB marketing software by integrating more thoroughly with each client’s installed customer relationship management system.
SalesFUSION’s current client roster includes the Cleveland Cavaliers, Konica Minolta, Hitachi, Green Giant and Sears. The company says it is on target to double its revenue this year.
In a statement, SalesFUSION founder Chad Ruff said that Nahas will help the company focus and grow its operations. Ruff will move onto the role of Chief Technology Officer to focus on SalesFUSION’s product development.
SalesFUSION has also appointed David Politis, the founder and CEO of enterprise SaaS company BetterCloud to its board. Politis has also served as a senior executive at Vocalocity and Cloud Sherpas, two-time Google Enterprise Partner of the Year for Google Apps.
