Instagram now offers photo and video embedding through its desktop site
Starting today, Instagram will display a share button to its desktop interface, letting you copy and paste embed codes to insert photos -- and videos -- on your blog or website. The new web embed feature will display your pic or video clip, along with your Instagram user name so everyone knows who took that Mayfair-filtered masterpiece. In its announcement post, the photo-sharing service notes that private photos won't be eligible embeds. Log into your account to try the feature out; the embed icon sits just below the comment button, as seen above.
