Smartphone patent conflicts could get most of the glory, but display disputes can be equally heated. To prepare
for that, Samsung released the Intellectual Keystone Technology (IKP) last
month to "trade and develop" OLED and LCD patents, in line with The
Korea Times.
A spokesperson said the organisation opened the branch as an easy
way to smooth innovation, but additionally warned that it intends to put it to
use "to safeguard our intellectual property by our patent-related business
stronger." To date, it has already added up Samsung's portfolio by acquiring display technology from Seiko Epson, all things considered, it
never hurts to possess numerous cards up your sleeve as you are able to
when things take a turn for the worst.
