MSI's AG2712 is a Serious iMac Competitor With Powerful Gaming Specs And a 27" Touch Screen

There’s a new 27-inch behemoth on the block, and it’s not an aluminium slab with an Apple logo on it. Nope, it’s MSI’s brand new Windows 8 gaming all-in-one PC that doubles up as a monitor for your Xbox 360 or PS3 and packs a very mean punch: meet the epic MSI AG2712.
MSI’s massive AG2712 is fronted by a full HD, anti-glare 10-point touchscreen, which means you can play some ridiculously sized Cut The Rope with ease, but that’s not what you’d want this for. Under the hood you’ll find a blazing fast Intel Core i7 processor paired with 4GB of RAM plus a beefy Nvidia GeForce GTX 670MX that can handle anything you throw at it – which means you’ll be wanting to get some serious gaming done on this instead of flinging vexed birds at pigs.

Tucked inside you’ll find a 1TB hard drive which you can load all your games and movies on, plus you can equip it with a Blu-Ray combo drive if you fancy high-def entertainment on a disc. You’ll find all the usual ports on the back, including USB 3.0 for super fast file transfer, and there’s Wi-Fi onboard too, plus a HDMI-in port for your consoles which makes this the perfect bedroom gaming PC.
Apple’s iMac range might boast pristine looks, but they’re woefully equipped when it comes to hardcore gaming, not to mention the lack of games available for OS X. Consider this if you’re wanting an all-in-one with some gaming prowess. Pricing and availability is yet to be determined but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
Think you’ll slot this into your gaming den, or are you more of an Apple fan? Let us know what you think in the comments below. [Source]
